Word of the Week: HARVEST

We see the benefits of planting all day long. On social media especially, the results of hard work and/or patient waiting are shared like trophies. Whether it’s a meal at someone’s favorite restaurant or an announcement about a promotion at work, people share the best parts of their weeks. What we often miss is the time it took to source ingredients, prep and cook that gourmet meal. Or in the case of a promotion, we may not see the countless days of overtime showing up early and taking work home that preceded. Let this week’s word be a reminder that while a particular HARVEST goal is great to have, hard work, attention, and patience are just as much a part of any reaping as the bounty itself.

Dig. Plant. Water. Nurture. Wait. Pray. Expect. Make Room.
