A One Woman Fashion Show

A One Woman Fashion Show

This past Thursday, my sister and I spent some time in Sugar Land Town Square. We attended an event billed as a free fashion show. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was in fact, a ONE WOMAN fashion show . . . something I had never seen before. The event was hosted by Megan of HoneyWereHome.com ⬆️CLICK PIC TO READ MORE⬆️

FUN

FUN

I had an absolutely fun day hanging with a dear friend. We visited The Menil Collection, which was one of my frequent destinations when I lived in the Montrose area of Houston during my college years. We talked about being wives and moms, chasing dreams and living on purpose. The struggles of balancing it all, maintaining healthy relationships and continuing to grow as a person can be a lot. It was helpful for both of us to hear we are not alone in that struggle. That's why we could all stand a bit more fun! ⬆️CLICK PIC TO READ MORE⬆️

Typically Dad is kinda difficult to shop for, he never asks for anything much at all outside of quality family time. Before he knew about the BBQ pit, he'd said that all he really wanted was one of Mom's chocolate cakes. Now, you should know that my family has a bit of a reputation. We have been called "the dessert family". My Mom's peach cobbler has incited stampedes at family and church functions all over the world. Growing up, it was just a thing. Wherever we were, whether living on a joint military base in Mons, Belgium or an Air Force Base in Northern California . . . Mom's duty was cobbler. ⬆️CLICK PIC TO READ MORE⬆️
